Part Time: 20 Hours
Pay Range: $12/Hour plus commissions

Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to:
•Develops new business by analyzing account potential; initiating, developing, and closing sales.
•Identifies potential in accounts by interviewing key customer personnel; identifying and evaluating needs.
•Develop sales with initial presentation; explaining product, enhancements, additions, new products and services.
•Closes sales by overcoming objections, preparing contracts.
Dawson Gap Naturals--a fast growing Non-GMO feed supplier based in Hillsboro, VA--is seeking an Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating profitable business from the range of product we offer. You will do this by developing your customer accounts and implementing sales tactics for increasing business while increasing brand identity. We value our workforce and offer on-the-job training in our specialized field, as well as room for growth as we continue to expand.
Education or experience preferred:
Previous experience in a farm setting or similar type of community or product sales
5 years of direct customer contact or account management
5 years of high-volume sales experience
Working knowledge of basic computer software, QuickBooks and CRM programs
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on
• New business development and customer relations
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Large and Small farms or feed industry
• Ability to work independently, onsite or offsite
The physical demands of this role may require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
